Grants

The Trust considers applications for grants in accordance with its Objectives, as set out in the Trust's Deed, for both individuals and groups/projects.

The Objectives are "to help relieve financial hardship, sickness and poor health amongst the elderly, vulnerable and those in need, or organisations working on their behalf, currently resident in the area of benefit, being Much Wenlock and the surrounding areas within Shropshire, to include the funding of items, services or facilities calculated to relieve the needs of such persons"

We currently fund grants from the income generated from the original capital sum of £250,000 which has been invested. This provides an income of between £12,000 and £15,000 per annum dependant on the performance of the investments.

From 2011 to October 31st 2022 we had made 63 grants totalling over £73,000.

Grant Applications may be made at any time on one of the forms below. Whilst the Trustees currently meet quarterly applications may be considered between meetings.
